Miami Wine & Food Festival

Christine, a furniture assembler maniac, took a break and attended the Miami Wine & Food Festival. Finally a reprieve that was local, short and sweet AND delicious!

[Back to first person narration] I suppose I wasn't tipsy enough to continue regaling with tall tales. Thanks to my friend Adrienne, I was invited to join her in this food and wine tasting in upscale Merrick Park Village in Coral Gables. I highly recommend it!!! If you're a local, this is better than the South Beach Wine & Food Festival which skyrocketed to a higher caste of customers. The Miami Wine & Food Festival was reasonably priced ($75), and offered a delectable selection of wineries and upscale restaurants.

A new "trend" restaurant is Meat Market but I never reached their table. However, I stumbled upon Por Fin, a one-year old restaurant in the Gables. My first impression was love at first taste. Will the rest of the menu stand up to the "melt in your mouth" first impression? Eventually I'll find out.
